Terms of use
Last updated 7 September 2026
These services are private, non-commercial software run by one person for family and a few invited people. Nothing here is sold, and there is no paid plan, support commitment, or public sign-up.
Access
- Access is by invitation only and tied to a specific Google account. It may be granted or withdrawn at any time, without notice, for any reason.
- Do not share your access with anyone else, and do not attempt to reach services or data you were not given.
- You are responsible for keeping your own Google account secure.
Your content
Content you create — notes, photos, files, calendar entries — remains yours. It is stored on a private server and is not used for any purpose beyond running the service for you. See the privacy page for detail.
No warranty, and expect downtime
This runs on a home server on a residential internet connection. It will go down for power cuts, hardware faults, upgrades, and mistakes. Services are provided as-is, with no warranty and no guarantee of availability or of data preservation.
Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Backups exist and are taken seriously, but they are not a promise.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, and nothing that puts the host or its network at risk.
- No attempts to bypass authentication, probe for weaknesses, or overload the services.
- No storing content you do not have the right to store.
Changes
These terms may change. Continued use after a change means the new version applies. Material changes will be mentioned to the people affected, since there are few enough of them to simply tell.
